The View To Cop 28 with Stephen Donofrio & Steve Zwick

In IPO-VID podcast episode #126 Patrick L Young was joined by Ecosystem Marketplace Managing Director, Stephen Donofrio and former futures broker and Chicago trader turned sustainable development writer, Steve Zwick.

A former futures broker and trader in Chicago, nowadays Steve Zwick writes about the economics of sustainable development and the interplay between land-use and climate change -- two subjects he developed a fascination for in a 30-year career that brought him from Chicago's trading pits and led to subsistence farms in rural parts of Kenya, Vietnam, and Brazil.

As a journalist, he has worked for publications as diverse as the Chicago Reader, Fortune and Time Magazines. He has been twice short-listed for the World Leadership Forum's prestigious Business Journalist of the Year Award. He also produced radio features for Germany's Deutsche Welle Radio and National Public Radio in the United States.

Stephen Donofrio is Managing Director of Ecosystem Marketplace, the world’s first and only globally recognized and standardized Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCM) end-to-end transparency platform providing exclusive carbon trade pricing data, insights, and news. Over the past two decades, he’s held key roles at prominent environmental markets and climate action organizations, including Forest Trends, the Chicago Climate Exchange, and CDP (formerly, Carbon Disclosure Project). He’s also served as a Consultant to the United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF).
