Jennifer Ilkiw is President of ICE Futures U.S., having previously served as ICE’s Head of Asia Pacific where she was instrumental in the 2014 acquisition of Singapore Mercantile Exchange and the subsequent development of ICE’s first exchange and clearing house in the region. 

Prior to joining ICE in 2007, Ilkiw opened and managed the Asia Pacific office of NYMEX.

Albert Menkveld is a Professor of Finance at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute. In 2002, he received a Tinbergen PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He was in visiting positions for multiple years at various U.S. schools (NYU, Wharton, and Stanford).

Albert’s research agenda is focused on securities trading, liquidity, asset pricing, and financial econometrics and has been widely published in leading financial journals. For three years in a row, he has been the best publishing Dutch economist according to the Economentop 40 published by ESB (2020, 2021, and 2022).

Jeffrey Kutler’s journalistic career has seen quite an arc, from the mass adoption of ATMs through the growth of technology to fintech and most recently the rise of cryptocurrencies with every technological innovation in between!

Jeffrey is an award winning journalist and contributing editor to TabbFORUM. He is also a contributing editor of the Global Association of Risk Professionals’ GARP Risk Intelligence site. He served as editor-in-chief from 2008 through 2019. Before joining GARP, he had senior editorial roles at Institutional Investor, Securities Industry News and American Banker.

Tim Worstall has been the world's major scandium wholesaler, is a Senior Fellow at the Adam Smith Institute and lives by writing on matters economic and financial.

Professor Monica Singer is a Chartered Accountant (SA) by training who was the first CEO of South Africa’s CSD, Strate (Pty) Ltd which she set up in 1998 and ran until she resigned in August 2017.

In October 2017, Monica was appointed as South Africa Lead for ConsenSys, a leading blockchain company. Monica is an Advisory Board member to the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association and holds a professorial post at the University of Johannesburg specialising in blockchain for the accounting and auditing profession. Dr. Craig Pirrong is Professor of Finance and Director of the Global Energy Management Institute at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, best known in markets by his moniker “The Streetwise Professor” digesting financial and particularly commodity futures data into fascinating insights.

Alina Aldambergen is CEO of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) and Chairman of the KASE Clearing Centre. Alina sits on the board member of FEAS, the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges and is an advisory board member of the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan.

Bruce Goldberg CEO & Founder of Goldberg Group, a leading authority on brand positioning / marketing. He was formerly Chief Marketing Officer at ISE. His award winning "Revolution" branding campaigns helped establish the ISE brand as it grew to become the largest US options market by 2003.

Formerly at CBOE, Bruce’s achievements included branding LEAPS®, while previously he was Product Manager of Frito-Lay's two largest brands, Lays and Doritos where his marketing initiatives drove record growth.

Les was most recently CEO of both Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) and the Dubai Commodities Clearing Corporation (DCCC) – the largest and most diversified derivatives Exchange group in the Middle East.

A leader in the development of Europe’s first gas spot market (the OCM), Les later became Commercial Director at EnMO and then APX-Endex. In 2010 he became the European Managing Director for the Green Exchange, which was acquired by CME where role took on the European gas and Global LNG strategy for Nymex, prior to joining Nasdaq in 2014 where Les was responsible for EU/UK client facing activities on the Global Commodities product suite.

Simon O’Brien leads the Markets Department, which is responsible for the authorisation and supervision of Market Infrastructures at the FSRA of ADGM.

Simon has led key projects including the development of ADGM’s Virtual Asset regulatory framework, its Spot Commodities/Environmental Instruments Framework, and its Remote Member framework for ADGM Exchanges and Clearing Houses.

Alessandro Hatami is the founder and managing partner of advisory firm Pacemakers.io, specialising in driving digital transformation in banking organisations

He has more than 15 years experience including as COO of Digital Banking and Group Innovation Director at Lloyds Banking Group, Director of Large Merchant Services at PayPal UK and MD of PayPoint.net.

Alessandro is a Non Executive Director of Cashplus Bank while mentoring and investing in FinTech start-ups.

BMLL Chief Product Officer Dr. Elliot Banks is responsible for data science, product development and product delivery of BMLL's analytics and product suite to clients.

Elliot holds an MMath from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in theoretical physics from Imperial College London.

Christian Katz is the CEO of Helveteq, an issuer of ESG transparent investment products including carbon neutral Exchange Traded Products (ETPs). He is also Founder and Managing Partner of financial consulting firm MainStrait and holds several board seats in the financial and technology sectors.

Previously Christian was the CEO of SIX Swiss Exchange, VP of Europe’s largest index firm STOXX and President of FESE, the Federation of European Securities Exchanges. Caterina Caramaschi is celebrating her 21st anniversary working in equity derivatives with ICE (formerly LIFFE).

Having graduated in mathematics, Peter started his career as a product manager with Deutsche Boerse AG in Frankfurt in 1991 and worked at Dow Jones Indexes in New York from 2000 to 2001 before joining EUREX where he was a member of the Management Board until December 2018.

James Fok is a veteran financial and strategic advisor to corporations and governments who served as a senior executive at HKEX from 2012 until 2021, during a period of rapid internationalisation in China's capital markets. While there, he played a major role in a number of landmark financial markets initiatives, including the launch of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect programme (2014), Bond Connect (2017) and the Hong Kong market's Listing Reforms (2018). Prior to HKEX, Fok worked as an investment banker in both Europe and Asia, specialising in the financial services sector.

Fok is author of the book Financial Cold War and has written and spoken extensively about market structure issues and the intersection between geopolitics and international finance.

John Kim is co-founder, chief strategy officer & general counsel of Movmint, the world's first retail CBDC in production. In 2020, John - a former partner at Norton Rose Fulbright’s Global Fintech Group - led the team that won the prestigious Central Bank Publication Advisor Of The Year Award for Fintech and Digital Projects. In addition to his role at Movmint, John teaches at the University of British Columbia School of Law.

Mark Schaedel is CEO of DataBP, a global provider of data commercialization technology and services to the world’s largest financial institutions. In 2012, Mark Co-Founded The COBA Project Ltd., a consortium established to create a European consolidated tape.

Massimo has worked for investment banks, prop trading firms, market makers and exchanges in trading product and market development, cooperating closely with buy-side and sell-side traders, analysts and portfolio managers and helping creating markets and strategies to support them.

At SDX he leads the equity team, dedicated to enhancing the funding process for private companies and improving the issuance, custody, and transfer of digital securities in SDX’s regulated CSD.

Prior to SDX, Massimo spent 7 years at LSE as head of equity derivatives markets and global account director developing key strategic group accounts.

Ivan Steriev has been the CEO of the Macedonian Stock Exchange Inc. Skopje since 2005 having been a member of the team which set the sechange up in 1996 and has been working at the MSE since its foundation, first as a Floor manager and then as a Director of Trading Department until 2005.

Ivan has been a member of the Board of the Macedonian Central Securities Depository and Commissioner at Macedonian Security & Exchange Commission. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of SEE Link (an EBRD supported project started by Bulgaria, Macedonia and Zagreb stock exchanges to create a regional infrastructure for linking securities trading across these three markets.

CEO of the Berlin Stock Exchange until November 2019, Artur Fisher has a strong background in technology. His degree in electronics specializing in High Frequency Communication led to a managing a short-wave transmitter station at the Rhein Main MAC working for the US Signal Assessment Unit and then real time computer systems for Television Studios. That led to Artur becoming the Director managing the Frankfurt Stock Exchange trading floor delivering Products like the DAX Index.

With experience in a UK based mortgage lender, Arthur returned to Germany, specifically Berlin after the wall came down working as a Director of Bankgesellschaft Berlin responsible for implementing trading floors and Risk Management Systems in Berlin, London, Dublin, and Luxemburg.

Then Artur spent 12 productive years as joint CEO of the Berlin Stock Exchange, executive Chairman of Equiduct Ltd. in London and EASDAQ NV in Belgium. Artur was also an MD of the public Law office of the Berlin Senate implementing with a team of lawyer’s regulatory measures associated with the Stock Exchange under EU Law.

A serial board member in various jurisdictions, Artur has also featured regularly on the BBC, Bloomberg and Phoenix Hong Kong News discussing European economic affairs.

Software-as-a-Service is integral to Keith Todd’s DNA. Roughly half of his 40-year career has focused on SaaS, spanning global technology businesses from publicly listed and large multinational companies to start-ups.

As TT’s CEO, Keith oversees day-to-day operations, driving the firm’s global growth strategy and execution.

Prior to TT, Keith served as CEO and remains Executive Chairman of KRM22. He was Executive Chairman and CEO of FFastFill, a global derivatives SaaS provider acquired by ION Group, as well as Executive Chairman of ION Agency Trading. His career also includes leadership positions with Marconi Defense Group and ICL plc, among others. He was also Chairman of the UK Broadband Stakeholder Group.

Keith was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) by the Queen of England for his services to the telecommunications industry. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA).

In 1994 he founded Exchange Data International (EDI) a London based financial data provider. EDI now has over 400 clients across three continents and is based in the UK, USA, India and Morocco employing 500 people.

Jonathan has two law degrees and as part of his LLM at the London School of Economics he studied “Monopolies, Competition and the Law.” He is probably the only data vendor with this speciality under his belt and this has given EDI the confidence to be a disruptive force in the industry.

Tom McMahon is an exchange architect with extensive experience across the gamut of energy, as a director of NYMEX and more recently a welter of Asian initiatives.

From helping launch WTI to Henry Hub and NY Harbor Gasoline, LNG and more recently moving into renewables with Air Carbon Exchange, Tom maintains a fascinating portfolio of interests in Singapore across ETD, OTC, CCP, often, nowadays with Blockchain technology as part of the mix.

As CEO of the Canadian Securities Exchange since July 2011, Richard Carleton has positioned the exchange to take a leading role in the provision of public capital to entrepreneurial companies. Since 2014, the CSE has set a series of records for new listings, capital raised by issuers and trading turnover in the competitive Canadian marketplace. An early advocate for the cannabis industry, CSE is the global exchange leader in the sector. Financial Post Magazine recognised Richard as one of Canada’s “25 Cannabis Industry Power Players.”

Patrick is Director for the New Orleans Mayor’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention. The OGVP is the backbone of the city’s efforts to work with New Orleanians to create peace and prevent gun violence.

Prior to working with the Mayor, he served the New Orleans Business Alliance as Director of Training, managing the STRIVE work readiness training program. Operating across four opportunity centers in the city of New Orleans, Patrick helped employ over 890 formerly incarcerated persons in less than 3 years.

As Founder and Executive Director of “SharpMen” Patrick helped men overcome barriers to employment and was selected as a WK Kellogg Foundation Fellow for his proven leadership and dedication to improving the city of New Orleans.

And now Patrick is the author of his first book, “A WAY UP, Economic Development Post Incarceration” - a strategy toolkit for individuals with barriers in financial literacy and access to resources because of a conviction.

Hamish joined Sinara in 2006 as a software engineer, building a strong background in the design and development of systems for exchange operations, commodities trading and market data distribution. Having a keen interest in business, he progressed into sales & marketing, bringing to Sinara’s customers his insights into how technology can help solve challenges faced by participants across the financial markets. In 2021, he became responsible for Sinara’s sales and marketing operations, and continues to champion the SinaraTLC initiative, which has resulted in Sinara investing in a new suite of trading lifecycle components for brokers, exchanges and clearing houses.

Catherine McBride is a senior Economist, writing and researching about international trade, agricultural trade and innovation, financial service regulation, corporate governance, competition and public policy. She sits on the UK Trade and Agriculture Commission Member and is a former staffer of the London IEA think tank.

Etan Butler is Chairman of Dalmore Group, a FINRA registered national Broker Dealer Investment Bank, founded in 2005. Etan has led the meteoric growth of Dalmore, from traditional full service investment bank to industry leading specialization in assisting companies that seek to raise investment capital from individual investors through the SEC’s Regulation D, Regulation A+ and Regulation CF - with more than 200 successful offerings!

In December 2021, it was announced that Trabue Bland will oversee all of ICE’s Exchanges. Formerly VP of Regulation for Intercontinental Exchange Inc he has most recently been President of ICE Futures U.S., & also serves on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee.

Prior to joining ICE in 2007, Bland was Legal Counsel to Acting Chairman Walter Lukken at the CFTC. He was also a trial attorney in the Division of Enforcement and an attorney in the Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight having previously served in private practice.

Nigel Feetham QC is a barrister, the Head of Financial Services and a senior partner of the leading Gibraltar law firm Hassans. He has served on the Decision Making Committee (an independent statutory committee of the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission) as well as having been a non-executive member of the Board of the GFSC. He has been actively involved in various strands of fintech and is a leading expert on protected cell company structures and more broadly the insurance sector. Nigel has also published several law books and was formerly a visiting professor of law at a U.K. university.

Alan Swimmer is MD at Horizon Kinetics LLC responsible for focussed on exchange related investment opportunities. Previously, he was at Environmental Financial Products. Alan has spent over 28 years in various senior roles in institutional ETD including North American Sales Head at JP Morgan, He has held Board of Directors positions at RMG Networks and The Minneapolis Grain Exchange.

17 year Horizon Kinetics LLC veteran James Davolos is Co-Portfolio Manager for the Inflation Beneficiaries ETF (INFL), the Internet Fund as well as several private funds and institutional separate accounts.

Henrik Hasselknippe is Head of XMarkets, the Xpansiv portfolio of open, transparent exchanges that enable the seamless transaction of renewable energy, carbon, water, and Digital Fuels. Henrik is responsible for the Xpansiv exchange operations, which include CBL, the largest voluntary carbon market; Australian water exchange H20X; the Aviation Carbon Exchange (ACE); and OTX, which provides market access for CSO tickets and renewable fuels.

A former Executive Director for CME Group, leading the company’s Corporate Development division in EMEA, he also served as MD for GreenX, an environmental markets exchange that was owned by a consortium of leading global investment banks, brokers, and trading companies.

Erja Retzén is Senior Managing Director at Nasdaq, Global Listing Services. She works closely with existing and future issuers listed on Nasdaq Nordic and with start and scale up communities, with specific sectoral speciality in mining & exploration, gaming and cleantech. Erja joined Nasdaq in 2005 and previously held a number of manager roles within marketing communications, business excellence and project management. Erja holds a M.Sc. (Eng.) in industrial engineering and management, and has also graduated from Oulu Mining School’s GeoPros PD program.

Julia Streets, the incomparable founder and CEO of Streets Consulting Ltd. Julia was formerly Global Head of MarComms at NYSE Technologies and previously Instinet Europe.

Taraneh Derayati is the CEO of Vermiculus Financial Technology, an innovative FinTech company delivering microservices-based solutions for the largest trading and clearing venues globally.

Derayati has vast experience in leading large technical transformation projects for exchanges and clearinghouses. Prior to Vermiculus, Derayati was Head of Sales and responsible for business development and client account management at Cinnober where she led some of the firm’s largest sales before it was acquired by Nasdaq. She continued as VP at Nasdaq Market Technology where she led a major clearing project to replace the entire infrastructure and developed the agile transformation.

Rosa Armesto Plaja as Deputy Director-General of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), is responsible for coordinating all regulatory policy campaigns and strengthening FESE’s positioning on the key issues and priorities for exchanges in Europe.

While predominantly working for FESE, Rosa spent 4 years as a Member of the Management Team and Head of Public Affairs and Communications of Insurance Europe. Prior to working in Brussels since 2007, Rosa was in Luxembourg with Eurostat (the statistical office of the European Commission).

A former futures broker and trader in Chicago, nowadays Steve Zwick writes about the economics of sustainable development and the interplay between land-use and climate change -- two subjects he developed a fascination for in a 30-year career that brought him from Chicago's trading pits and led to subsistence farms in rural parts of Kenya, Vietnam, and Brazil.

As a journalist, he has worked for publications as diverse as the Chicago Reader, Fortune, and Time Magazines. Ivana Gažić is the President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, the lead developer of the capital market in the region.

Ivana started her career in 1998 at Pliva Plc. where she served until 2003 as a Head of Capital Market Operations going on to work for several local banks. Since May 2010 she has been running the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

She is the President of the Supervisory Board of the SEE LINK Skopje, a legal entity founded in 2014 with the aim to establish regional order routing service between Bulgaria, Macedonia and the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Following the acquisition of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange in late 2015, she is also the president of its Supervisory Board. Ivana is also a member of the Council of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency.

D’Arcy Rahming Sr is a Northwestern University Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He is the former COO of the Bahamas International Securities Exchange and former Technical Operations Manager of the Globex Control Center at Reuters America. As a top management consultant, he has helped companies across all industries in the Bahamas and abroad. He is a lecturer and member of the Board of Trustees at the University of the Bahamas, a former columnist for the Tribune and the Nassau Guardian, as well as Treasurer of the Bahamas Olympic Committee.

Shari Noonan is the CEO of Rialto Markets, a Finra registered broker-dealer and SEC-registered ATS focused on private market digital securities. Shari has extensive experience in building and scaling operations & products with Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, and Instinet and was directly involved in the electronification of the Equities market.

London Metal Exchange (LME) CEO Matthew Chamberlain is responsible for the stewardship of the global base metals trading market having overseen several significant initiatives, including the delivery of integration and build-out following the acquisition of LME by HKEX, re-tooling of the LME’s physical network delivery, and a market-wide discussion on the strategic direction of the Exchange.

Having joined LME in 2012, Chamberlain has a track record of using corporate platforms to promote inclusivity, responsible supply chains, and environmental standards through a multi-stakeholder approach. Max Ganado is a semi-mythical figure in Maltese law: his widespread description as a ‘visionary’ hardly does him justice! Beginning as a maritime lawyer, Max hugely developed the Financial Services practices at GanadoAdvocates, the blue riband law firm in the island state. Max has been heavily involved in the drafting of new legislation required for the development of Malta as a financial centre, including the revision of the law relating to trusts and the law on legal persons and foundations, as well as on netting, securitisation, DLT and aviation.
